FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 30th.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family, and as such, we’re keeping our guest list intimate. Guests invited to attend are clearly listed on your invitation, and we’re unable to accommodate additional guests. Thank you for understanding - we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under age 12 on our wedding day.

Question

What's the easiest way to get to and from your wedding?

Answer

If you're staying at the Thompson Hotel, District Winery is just a 4-minute walk away. If you're staying at Homewood Suites, District Winery is an 11-minute walk. Rideshares like Uber and Lyft are widely available in the area and are a convenient option for getting around. If you’re planning to drive, there are several paid parking lots near District Winery, and valet services are available throughout The Yards neighborhood. Please note: Shuttle service will not be provided, so we recommend planning your transportation in advance.

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 6:00 PM, and doors will open at 5:30 PM. We recommend arriving by 5:45 PM to give yourself plenty of time to find your seat and get settled. Wine will be served starting at 5:30 PM, so come early and enjoy a sip before the celebration begins!

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be held indoors. The cocktail hour will take place on a covered terrace, weather permitting - perfect for enjoying the view with a drink in hand! No need to worry about walking on grass, so feel free to rock those stilettos!

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a family-style sit-down dinner with a choice of entrées. There will be a gluten-free/nut-free/vegan option available. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, however, we do recommend bringing cash or a credit card along if you plan to attend the welcome party.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our ceremony “unplugged” - please refrain from taking photos or videos during this special moment. We want everyone to be fully present with us as we say “I do.” Once the ceremony ends, feel free to snap away during cocktail hour and the reception - we can’t wait to see the celebration through your lens!

Question

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding truly means the world to us - that’s the greatest gift of all! If you’d like to honor us with a gift, you’re welcome to send it to our home using the return address on your invitation. For those bringing a card or gift in person, there will be a wedding card box at the reception.
