You can pick apples and enjoy a variety of treats (we recommend the freshly made apple cider donuts) while taking in a gorgeous view of Cville and the Blue Ridge Mountains. FYI - it can be a little crazy in the fall, so if you go, be prepared to wait a little in line.

Have an iconic Charlottesville day by grabbing a bagel from Bodo's and walking over for breakfast or lunch on the UVA Lawn, which is the long stretch of grass extending from the Rotunda.
The CornerThe Corner
Five blocks of shops, restaurants, and bars next to UVA's Grounds that is a main hub of activity for students. A likely location for an informal after party on Saturday.

If you want even more wine than Veritas, here are a handful of beautiful wineries to check out: Pippin Hill, King Family Vineyards, Early Mountain Vineyards, Jefferson Vineyards, Blenheim Vineyards (established by Dave Matthews). Note - most of these are a 20-30 minute drive from town.
