FAQs

Question

What should I do in between the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be about 2 hours between the end of the wedding ceremony and the reception. This gives Emily and Geoff time to take lots of photos all over the city with their wedding party! In the meantime there are TONS of fun places to check out prior to the reception: Bean and Brew (97 E Main Street Batavia, OH 45103) - local coffeshop that serves food and beer as well located right in downtown Batavia. Grab a coffee or a beer and watch the Little Miami river go by Mt. Carmel Brewing (4362 Mt Carmel Tobasco Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45244)- great brewery located about 20 minutes drive from the reception. Relax by their lake and enjoy a brew!

Question

Are there things to do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Tons of activities! Close by the church you can take a walk down Main Street to see the Haglage Park or stop by the local coffeeshop called Bean and Brew! They have a great outdoor area to enjoy a coffee and watch the Little Miami River float by. Near the reception area there is a great brewery called Mt.Carmel Brewing. Grab a beer and enjoy the lake! You're welcome to get to the reception a little early and play some giant Jenga, Cornhole, or check out the farm!
