Timing is everything. You don't have that many opportunities to meet your soulmate. In 2013 Emily and I were both going through life changes. Our situations made us right for each other at that time. What we didn't know when we first met, is that we were always right for each other. At first our long distance relationship was full of long phone conversations, sleeping with Skype chats open, and mushy text messages every day before work. Emily came to visit in Baltimore for the first time and I'll never forget the feelings I had watching her walk off the airplane. After that trip we both knew that this could be forever. Emily then treated me to a trip out to Washington, which brought the first of many concerts she'd take me to. Dave Mathews Band at the Gorge. Clearly, she was pulling out all the stops. In 2015 Emily made the leap and finally moved with the girls to live with me in Florida and then Georgia. Merging two families together isn't a challenge for the faint of heart, but through thick and thin we've held each other close and become a family. Co-parenting and building a home together has only reinforced what we knew all along, that we were meant for each other all along. In 2019 I finally came to my senses and asked my best friend and the most beautiful women I've ever known to marry me. She even loved the ring!!! Good thing I followed all 37 of the ring specifications she gave me. I couldn't be happier to marry her and spend the rest of my life making her grilled cheese and her falling asleep on my shoulder late at night on the couch. Fun Facts: The kids are all named after our favorite Classic Musicians. We both like most all music EXCEPT country music. We both consider breakfast the best meal. We both claim that we told the other that we loved them first. Neither of us have ever been wrong.
