Flight
Richmond is the best airport to fly into (about 30-45 minutes from Williamsburg). Other options include Newport News (45 minutes away) or Norfolk (Hour + away). Washington D.C. is about two and half hours away, so only fly there if you're making a trip to DC! You will need to rent a car, or take the train to Williamsburg ($40-65). We recommend renting a car because it will make getting around Williamsburg easy!
Hotel
We are getting married right across the street from the Lodge and the Griffen Hotel (both Colonial Williamsburg properties), so they are the most convenient places to stay. The Lodge is a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel, and is absolutely adorable. It's where we stay when we visit Williamsburg. Plus, we will get Marriott points if you book there!

Hotel
The Fairfield Inn and Suites on Richmond Road is about 10 minutes away from our ceremony site. For hotels geared toward kids, the Woodlands is conveniently in Colonial Williamsburg and the Great Wolf Lodge is about 20 minutes away. If you want a truly luxurious experience, the Williamsburg Inn is right next to the Lodge, a 5-star hotel, and the only hotel in the US where the Queen of England has stayed twice.
House Or Rental
Williamsburg is a vintage town and, as such, it has a ton of bed and breakfasts rather than convenient Air BnBs. We have not stayed in any, but they all get rave reviews and look very cute. If you are picking a normal BnB, try to get as close as possible to Colonial Williamsburg.
