Getting to Stowe

Stowe sits about 45 minutes northeast of Burlington International Airport (BTV). It's a beautiful and easy drive through the Green Mountains. Here are a few ways you can make the trip: By rental car (our recommendation): All major car rental agencies operate out of BTV, and the drive to Stowe takes roughly 1 hour via I-89 and Route 100. Please note that there are no rental agencies in Stowe itself, and the village, the mountain, and the surrounding restaurants are spread out. We think having a car will make the whole weekend easier! By car service: If you'd rather leave the driving to someone else, several local companies offer door-to-door service from the airport. Rates typically run $110–$140 for up to five passengers, so a shared ride is a lovely option for families or friends traveling together. We recommend booking ahead of time, as these fill quickly on weekends. AA Transportation — (802) 227-2776 BTV Shuttle — (802) 448-0521 Once you're here: Stowe is wonderfully walkable in the village, and there are many restaurants + shops to visit. If you plan on doing any activities outside the immediate village (visiting the mountain, hiking, golfing, etc.), you will want access to a car. Please also note that travel is provided from the ceremony in Stowe to the reception in Hyde Park.

BTV

Burlington Airport (BTV) is the closest major airport to Stowe (45 minutes). It's a smaller airport than Boston, but services many airlines.

BOS

Logan International in Boston (BOS) is the largest airport in New England and is a further drive from Stowe at 3.5 hours. We have made the drive from Boston to Stowe countless times, and it is a great way to explore Vermont if you choose to fly to Boston and rent a car!

Green Mountain Inn

The welcome party on Friday July 30th will take place at The Green Mountain Inn in downtown Stowe. We highly recommend staying on-site for your convenience, however there are plenty of other accommodations in the Stowe area. A block of King and Double Queen rooms is available for reservation from Thursday 7/29 through Sunday 8/1. To reserve your room, please call the Green Mountain Inn and reference the Tina + Daughtrey wedding, and they will assist in booking a room.
