Emily and Evan met on September 11, 2022 in an unusual way. Evan rode his motorcycle from Loganville, Ga to Newnan to meet up with Emily’s brother Avery for a group ride. Evan ended up crashing 2 miles from Emily’s house so he went back there to get cleaned up with Avery. As soon as Evan pulled up to the house, him and Emily locked eyes and it was love at first sight

In July, Emily, Evan and his family went on vacation to Glacier National Park, Montana. Emily thought to herself that Montana would be a beautiful place to get engaged but Evan told her it wasn’t going to happen there because he had just “paid off his motorcycle.” On Tuesday, July 25, Emily, Evan and Evans sister Alexis went on a horseback ride in the national park. The trail led to a lookout spot and everyone on the ride got off the horses for a break there. Emily was enjoying the views while Evan was secretly trying to get Alexis to get good photo angles. After the photo operation was figured out, Evan went to go enjoy the views with Emily. They were taking in the beautiful scenery when suddenly Evan gets on one knee behind Emily. The rest is history…
