Question

How far away is the wedding venue?

Answer

The wedding venue is about 40-50 minutes away from Carmel/Monterey which is where we recommend staying. So please keep that in mind

Question

Where will the reception be at?

Answer

We will be opting to be doing a simple private dinner with everyone at a restaurant. When you arrive at the restaurant the reservation will be under "Emily Prendergast"

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dressy Casual, Please keep in mind it might be warm due to it being summer still. We want everyone to still be comfortable. We just ask you avoid wearing green as that is color of the grooms suit.

Parking at Venue

Answer

We recommend carpooling as we will providing 10 parking passes for you guys. Each pass is per car. (that is the max the park would allow us to buy)

Will there be a hotel room block?

Answer

Unfortunately no, we were unable to secure a reservation due to our large party most hotels could not accommodate. I recommend booking your stay asap!

Taking photos at Ceremony

Answer

We are asking everyone to please refrain from taking photos with any personal devices as we will be having a professional photographer present. Pictures can be taken at the private reception dinner we will be having.

How to get to Campfire Amphitheater

Answer

The amphitheater is in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. There will be sign that states the name of the park and Big Sur Lodge. Turn into the road and you will eventually come across a sign that gives directions towards the lodge and towards the park entrance. Please take the road on the left hand side, pointing to the park entrance. Park rangers can help point to where the campfire amphitheater is.
