Our journey began back in 6th grade science class when he borrowed a pen from me. We became friends in 8th grade, bonding over our shared love for music while singing together in choir.

Though we were friends for years, our love story officially began on September 25, 2017. After donating blood together at a school blood drive, we spent the rest of the day talking about our feelings for one another. That was the moment we began dating, marking the start of a beautiful chapter.

Throughout college, we navigated a long-distance relationship with him attending OSU and me at SWOSU. Despite the miles between us, we made the most of our weekends together and countless FaceTime calls, staying connected and growing closer with each passing day.

Since we started dating in high school, we can't pinpoint our first "real" date, but we know that we love the simple joys of life. Whether it’s dinner, movie nights, indulging in frozen yogurt, or building Legos while watching our favorite shows, we cherish every moment spent together.

On April 8, 2024, he took me to a park in Stillwater for a “picnic” to watch the solar eclipse. As the eclipse reached its peak, he dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. Overwhelmed with joy, I said yes!
