When I, Emily, headed off to college Eastern my middle school principal Monte Womack told me, “you will meet your husband there”. Little did I know he was right. Drake and I met at FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Drake was at Eastern to play baseball, and I was at Eastern to play softball. Both of us were seeking to grow our relationship with God and found each other as well. Our FCA leader, Melissa Junell, played matchmaker, and ironically we both were chosen to represent FCA in homecoming together. According to Drake he knew from the first moment we met that I was the one! From homecoming to now every minute has been an adventure, it's the beginning of many dreams coming true! We know that God authored the steps which brought us together and we can’t wait to celebrate our love with everyone!
