Flight
For the quickest route to the island, we recommend flying into Brunswick Golden Isles Airport. It’s a tiny, stress-free airport served by Delta (via Atlanta) and is just a short 25-minute drive from Jekyll Island!
Flight
We recommend flying into Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) — it’s the most convenient option, located just about 1 hour from Jekyll Island Club Resort. The airport is easy to navigate and is serviced by most major airlines. Once you land, you can take a short Uber, Lyft, or taxi ride directly to the resort. If you prefer to rent a car, all major rental companies operate onsite at the airport.

If you’re unable to fly directly into Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport is a great alternative. Located about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Jekyll Island Club Resort, it offers a wide range of flight options and is typically very easy to navigate. Once you arrive, you can rent a car or take a private transfer, Uber, or Lyft for a comfortable ride north to Jekyll Island. The drive is scenic and straightforward, following I-95 South along the beautiful Georgia coast.

If you’re unable to fly directly into Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) or Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV), Charleston International Airport is another great option. Located about 3 hours north of Jekyll Island, CHS offers a variety of flight options and is known for being a convenient and easy-to-navigate airport. Once you arrive, you can rent a car or arrange a private transfer for the drive south to Jekyll Island Club Resort. The route is simple and scenic, following US-17 and I-95 South through Georgia’s charming coastal landscape.
