Devon and Emily met on the Bumble dating website and matched on February 4th, 2021. After their first date at Cheddar`s, they continued to talk and see where their relationship would lead. Emily moved to Bloomington, IN, and Devon finally asked her to be his girlfriend on May 15, 2021. The couple managed dating long distance and in August of 2021 said I love you to one another. The couple moved in together in Terre Haute, IN. In 2023, Emily asked Devon to move closer to Illinois to be with her family. Devon`s exact words were, "Sure. I will go anywhere with you." On November 4th, 2023 Devon took Emily to Lombardo`s Trattoria for dinner and then on the Ferris wheel at Union Station. At the top of the Ferris wheel, Devon proposed to Emily. Devon and Emily are excited to start their lives together.
