Wedding Party

Meet our wedding party who are standing beside us as we say I do!

Emily Tretter

Bride

Delmar Jackson

Groom

Megan Kenton

Maid of Honor

If you know Megan, you know she is always here for the joke. Often mistaken for siblings, Megan and I are roommates and are known for being attached at the hip. With us always scheming, laughing, and going on adventures, it of course makes sense Megan is standing beside me for one of my biggest adventures yet. Megan is loving being in her maid of honor era.

Jordan Lipman

Groomsman

Many of you that know Jordan already know this, for those who don’t, Jordan is a complete wild card that will do almost anything for “the bit”. I’m very much the opposite of that. When I first had the opportunity to meet Jordan, I was in need of refining, and he was more than happy to help, he pushes me and brings me out of my comfort zone. The longer I’ve been around him I’ve found, of my brothers, he probably has the biggest heart to love everyone he comes in contact with. Thankful he chose me to be his brother. Fun fact about Jordan, he and his wife, Keva, introduced me and Emily!

Libby Tijerino

Matron of Honor

After we met through Celebration's afterschool program, Libby has become one of my dearest friends. The many levels our friendship surprises me daily. From the craziest jokes to the deep conversations I treasure every moment with Libby. Each day is a new day to interpret something that came out of Libby's brain, you never know what you will get! It has been my honor to stand by Libby through her wedding as well as witness the birth of my niece, I cannot wait to say I do with her at my side.

Cody Franklin

Groomsman

When I think of Cody, I still remember the first time we met. I was helping run AV when a friend introduced us, after that, Cody found a way to impact so many of the projects we had an opportunity to do together. From there our friendship grew into a brotherhood. Like brothers do, if you know Cody you know “he is who he is” for better or worse, I’ve found for me it is for the better and I look forward to having him in my life in this new season.

Emily Laxton

Maid of Honor

It only seems fitting to have another Emily in the bridal party. Laxton has stood by me through some of my craziest times. She thinks of the little things and whenever I am with her I can't help but smile. We always find an excuse to go eat Texas Roadhouse and get some bread and be brave about the tummy ache that comes after.

Malachi Hudson

Groomsman

Malachi is a brother that always offers a unique perspective and challenges me to be more of a Christ follower everyday not only with his words, but with his actions. I look forward to us both continuing to grow in our spiritual leadership, along side each other, over the years. I am blessed with the opportunity to share a friendship that both allows me to challenge and be challenged in my walk.

Alexi Saliba

Maid of Honor

Alexi and I met in the 4th grade on my first day of school after moving to Florida. We played a "fun" game of kickball together. Throughout middle school our relationship was on and off, but when we got to high school we knew we'd be long time friends. We were on our high school drill team together, and you didn't have Emily without Alexi or Alexi without Emily. Throughout college we could pick up our friendship from whatever span of time we haven't talked! I cannot wait to have Alexi supporting me on the big day! If you're lucky she may even show you her party trick.

Ryan Burke

Best Man

Ryan has been a brother to me for longer than anyone else I can think of. We’ve been through thick and thin together, our brotherhood tried over time and found to be stronger on the other side. I often think back through the years on the silly things we’ve done and thankful we’ve had a counterpart to balance each other out. With that being said, we can still be competitive and push each through some “heat”ed games of 2k and equally as intense games of racquetball.

Drew Evans

Flower Teen

I met Drew on the day she toured our after school program. I remember meeting her as a kindergartener, who talked like an adult. I began to help her mom out bringing Drew to gymnastics, game nights, dinner and I fell in love with the human Drew was/is becoming. She has been my younger sister that I never had. When I met Delmar I knew Drew had to approve, and when she gave her blessing we knew no one else would fit the role better!
