It all started with a couple conversations during gatherings of mutual friends… Curiosity sparked and Emily slid into the DMs. Daryl had the intention of sliding into her DMs, and it has been studied closely, but ultimately a conclusion was reached that Emily in fact made that move. Our incredibly romantic first date consisted of a double feature of the classic date night films, Wreck it Ralph 1 & 2. You may be asking yourself why Daryl would pick these, of all movies, for his first date with the greatest woman he’s ever met. He didn’t. Emily has top tier film taste. The following days, weeks, months, consisted of dog dates, hikes, trips, and multiple hour phone calls on a virtual nightly basis. And just like that, we dove head first into discovery of one another and never looked back. We have held and supported each other through some big milestones, changes and challenges over the years. Moving through these things together has brought us strength and understanding, and ultimately forged us into the unit we are now. Six years later and we are ready for our biggest milestone yet, making our life-long vows, tying the knot and celebrating with our incredible family and friends!
