During the ceremony please refrain from taking pictures. During the Reception—yes! We'd love for you to take photos during the light refreshments and reception. Please send us any and all photos/videos you capture! Please also be mindful of the professional photographers so that they can do their thing.
June in Guanacaste is warm with an average high temperature of 87°F/31°C and average low of 75°F/24°C. Mostly of the days are sunny, but you can expect a little bit of rain in the late afternoon. Please pack a raincoat!

The biggest piece of advice is to always make sure to only ride with registered Costa Rican taxi drivers. It is not unusual for several people to ask you at the airport if you need a taxi. Unfortunately, some of these people are not legal taxi drivers and will overcharge you. You can always recognize official Costa Rican taxis because they are all red vehicles with a yellow triangle on the roof, driver’s side door, and front passenger side door. This yellow triangle contains their official taxi number

No. Costa Rica accepts and uses the American dollar as currency. However, you may be given change in Costa Rican colones and will want to exchange or use them up before coming back to the US.
We suggest letting your bank know that you will be traveling abroad so you can use your cards without being flagged while in Costa Rica.

Early Friday afternoon, a catamaran cruise will take off around the peninsula as a group outing before the official wedding weekend events begin! This event is optional and meant for those with extra time to explore and meet others. The first official wedding event will be on Friday evening, June 6th. Emily and Dario will arrive Thursday, June 5th, and stay until Wednesday, June 11th, to spend more time with family and friends. Everyone is welcome to arrive and leave as early or late as they want.
