It all started when Damani slid into my DMs on Instagram. Next thing you know, he was picking me up for our first date at Abbey Burger in Baltimore. We spent the next 4 hours getting to know each other—bonding over our mutual love of sports, fashion, music, and the fact that we're scorpios (well maybe that one was just me). We like to say it was "love at first date" because we both knew we'd met our match and didn't want to spend another day apart. The rest is history!

After a dinner date downtown, we headed home to hang out with family before going to an NYE party with friends. When we walked into the house I automatically noticed flowers and a card waiting on the table. Then Damani sent me on a romantic scavenger hunt all around the house. The last clue led to our bedroom, which he'd decorated with candles, flowers, and sentimental keepsakes. He finally got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife... and of course I said YES! We spent the rest of the night celebrating our love and the new year with our favorite people 🤍
