Our story began at a bonfire for our sorority and fraternity. Between the flickering flames and s'mores, and shot gunning beers, a spark ignited between us that night. After 8 months of "not dating," Emily finally told Corey they were dating. The rest was history.

After college, life took on a not so wild ride. We've moved five times together and separately, calling four different cities home. Each move brought new experiences and challenges, but we faced them all together, growing closer with each step.

While in grad school, three years ago, we made it official by becoming common law married. While it was a special day (Em finally got health insurance), we knew we wanted to celebrate our love with our family and friends in the future.

Our family grew by four paws – twice! We are the proud parents of two, 100% pure bred good boys. Alex and Andy keep us on our toes and fill our lives with joy and laughter, and vet bills.
