Connor and Emily started their relationship as coworkers. Both were working for a recruiting agency and sat next to each other at work. Connor started calling Emily "Whac-A-Mole" because she would always pop up out of her cubicle to ask him a question or just talk about something that had suddenly popped into her head. One afternoon Connor asked Emily to join him at a local bar for Happy Hour. Sooner than later, they would both go to Happy Hour together every Friday. They went from coworkers to close friends fairly quickly. Then one crisp November night Connor drummed up the courage to ask Emily to be his girlfriend. She happily said yes and that's how their love story began!

Connor & Emily decided to move out to the suburbs during the Spring of 2022. Halloween finally arrived, and they were both excited to decorate the house and welcome trick or treaters. As the sun was setting the trick or treaters started ringing the doorbell. During a lull between trick or treaters Connor decided to make his move. He tells Emily he needed to grab something from his car. Once he had the proposal setup, he then rang the doorbell. Emily was a bit confused because she didn't hear any trick or treaters but grabbed the candy and opened the door. There he was down on one knee on all Hallows eve. And said, "Will you Marry Me?" And she said, "YES!"'
