FAQs

If you have any questions that are not answered below, please reach out to Emily or Cody directly.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible, but no later than May 13, 2026

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is garden party, semi-formal. Think romantic florals, pastel colors, and breathable fabrics like linen or chiffon. For feminine guests, opt for midi or maxi dresses in flowing fabrics like chiffon, silk, or cotton; tailored, dressy jumpsuits are also a fantastic option. For masculine guests, a suit in a light, summery color like tan, light grey, or blue is a great option, or a breathable dress shirt in cotton or linen paired with chinos or slacks. Wear shoes that you are comfortable walking on grass in.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive in time to take your seat before the ceremony begins at 5 pm. There is ample free parking at the port which is a short, less than 5 minute walk to the ceremony site.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a large parking lot at the port and additional parking by the reception pavilion. Parking is free for all wedding guests.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We plan on having gluten-free and nut-free options available, if you are vegan/dairy free or have other dietary restrictions please let us know!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome and should be included in your guest count on your RSVP/invite. There is a small playground at The Port of Cascade Locks near the campgrounds where children can play!

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

While we are hoping for clear skies on our wedding day, the PNW weather can be unpredictable and is known for rain. The ceremony will be held outdoors and the reception will be inside the pavillion. In the event of rain we may switch the ceremony to under the event tent if needed, or have umbrellas at the grove. Bring shoes that you are comfortable walking on (potentially wet) grass in and bring a coat!
