Picture this: A young, overly sports obsessed, hopeful therapist comes to a new clinic to change the world for some misunderstood teenagers. He meets another young, in graduate training therapist whose outlook on life is based off of Post Malone ballads and favorite outfit to wear is black on black on black. These two young clinicians get pushed together into facilitating a group for teens within days of meeting each other. Sparks flew immediately, but not in the way you would think. She struggled to cede control of her infamous "ART" group to another clinician (which she found difficult because she was actually crushing hard on him) and he struggled to say much or participate in the facilitation of the group (which he found difficult because he didn't want to make himself look like a fool in front of teenagers... and his beautiful co-facilitator). They had to spend a lot of time together to plan their group (maybe like 20 minutes), but what they found is that their back-and-forth was filled with witty quips, subtle digs, and heartfelt conversations about their love lives. This led them to "exchange information" and plan to meet up for a drink on the town (he asked her), and she was reluctant. But he persisted. As did their colleagues who convinced the whole team to get together to spend a raucous night out on the town. This is where their relationship really took off. They continued to find themselves drawn to each other. He asked her out for the day after Christmas (smart!) and they went ice skating and to their favorite brewery Dangerous Man (this continues to be their anniversary tradition). They enjoy each other's humor, passion to help others, and vigor to try new foods. They moved into a awesome condo after their first year together. He proposed two years later while Colorado at Hanging Lake. And this year they bought their very first home in Richfield! They cannot wait to celebrate with all their friends and family in Oct 2022!
