We'll be outside on the lawn for the ceremony then cocktail hour with lawn games before dancing the night away in the tent so plan for outdoor cocktail attire. Heels, flats, wedges, boots, long dress, short dress, jumpsuit, blazer, tie, no tie - you all will look fabulous. But, do be conscious of the weather and bring layers if needed.
We've planned Thursday night and Friday to be adults-only (except for our nieces and nephews). But, on Saturday, your kiddos are welcome to join us for brunch and at the winery afterwards.
On Thursday and Friday, the food will be all vegetarian. At the winery on Saturday, it's BYO picnic or you can purchase on site.
Lyft and Uber are available in Leesburg but please carpool to limit the number of cars being called at once (and save on fossil fuels). There are also rental car companies in the area and there is parking available for Thursday night, Friday, and Saturday activities.
Great question! We're conscious of the natural resource consumption involved in our wedding weekend during this climate crisis. We hope that you all will help us help the planet in your own ways. You can eat less meat and eat locally grown foods, donate to offset your carbon footprint after booking transportation, travel with reusable water bottles and cutlery instead of buying plastic ones, carpool to the weekend activities, etc. Mother Nature thanks you!
