Hello, it’s Emily here! Let’s start off with some background information, as I feel it is important to fully understand our love story. I was born and raised in Southern California. In the Fall of 2017, I packed up and moved to Idaho to attend Boise State University. After graduating in 2021 with my Pre-Medical BS degree, I began working in Pharmaceutical Sales and remained in Idaho. Chase was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He moved to Flagstaff to attend Northern Arizona University. Upon graduating with his Criminal Justice degree in 2021, Chase moved back to Tucson and entered the Fire Academy to train to become a Firefighter. Fast forward to June of 2023, a colleague had put me in touch with a manager at a different Pharmaceutical company that was launching a new product. However, the caveat was that he only had one position available and it happened to be in Tucson, Arizona. At the time, I had no desire to leave Idaho, I honestly thought that I would spend the rest of my life there. However, as I thought long and hard about it, I remember getting this feeling to give it a shot and take the leap. The next thing I knew, I was accepting the job offer. They wanted me to start quickly, which meant I had just a few weeks to pack up, end the lease on the house I was renting, and move to Arizona. So, I booked a flight to come down to Tucson to see what exactly I was getting myself into, and needed to look for a house to rent. While I was in town, I had dinner with my sorority "little" from college, McKenna, and she told me about this guy that she had met the previous year at the Country Thunder music festival. She showed me his picture, told me about how nice of a guy he was, and suggested we meet. We got in touch and spent the next few weeks just simply talking via text, and we really got to know a lot about each other. Once I was settled into my new house, we set a first date. When the big day finally came, he drove his big blue diesel truck, walked up to my door, introduced himself, gave me a hug and I was smitten right in that moment. We then started taking the next step and met each other's family. First, I met his sister, Hailey. Then I met his parents, Dan and Chrissy. They immediately welcomed me into their family. Next Chase met my parents, David and Karen, they got along great and we had an amazing evening. When I got home that very night, I had texted one of my best friends, Jessica, that I was positive I was going to marry this man one day. I realized very early on that without a doubt, Chase and I were meant for each other. On October 26, 2024, Chase got down on one knee and proposed at Los Milics Winery in Sonoita, Arizona. It was a moment filled with joy, love, and excitement. The invisible string theory is a concept that suggests people are connected to their loved ones by an unseen, unbreakable bond that transcends time, distance, and geography. I am a firm believer in the invisible string theory because when the timing was right for the both of us, we were brought into each other's life despite living almost one thousand miles apart. It was a time when we were both ready to fully commit to and love each other unconditionally. During our time together, we have traveled both near and far, seen both success and failure, supported one another through loss and grief, cohabitation, brought a puppy into our family and through it all, I can confidently say that Chase is my rock, my everything, and the love of my life. I know that no matter what life throws our way, we will actively choose each other day in and day out. Our love continues to grow stronger, built on a foundation of friendship, respect, and unwavering commitment. We have so many beautiful memories so far, and I cannot wait to see what our future holds as Husband and Wife. To our dearest family and friends, thank you for joining us to celebrate this momentous occasion. We wouldn't want to say "I do" without you all there.
