Officiant/ Groomsman
We met Sam (aka Sammy Sue) in band our Sophomore year of high school. He has been a consistent third wheel the majority of our relationship and actually photographed our engagement in Houghton last August. Him officiating our wedding started out as a joke that eventually became reality.
Groomsman
Andrew and Chad have been friends since middle school band class. They attended Solo and Ensemble together with their saxophone duets and matching saxophone ties. Now, their interests have evolved to hunting, guns, archery, and beer. Chad and Andrew Snapchat each other ratings of all the different beers they try.
Groomsman
Drew and Chad met working for Chad's dad in high school, a friendship founded over digging holes and laying sewer pipe. He is a loyal friend who likes big trucks and the occasional beer. Avoids garage doors.
Groomsman
Austin and Chad met in middle school, and were neighbors. They spent most of their time after school and during the summer playing hockey, riding ATVs, mudding, shooting, and fishing. Austin is known to rarely be seen driving the same vehicle for more than a month, and his number of cars owned has, without a doubt, exceeded his age.
Groomsman
Chad and Dylan have known each other for a few years. Dylan is responsible for Chad's recent obsession with archery and ice fishing (expensive). They recently went on a hunting trip to Missouri where their bromance really flourished. Dylan can be identified by the five Bud Lights in his pockets.
Bridesmaid
Courtney is Chad's super cool little sister. She attends Adrian College for a business degree, but don't let that fool you. She thought Alaska was next to Hawaii.
Bridesmaid
Amiris and I met in marching band at EMU. She loves One Direction, working out, and not being in marching band. She was born-and-raised a city girl. One of the first dirt roads she drove on was the entrance to the Lenawee County Fairgrounds. Our first conversation covered the importance of sugar daddies.
Bridesmaid
Kristin and I also met in marching band at EMU. She loves Harry Styles and chicken tenders and french fries. Kristin sought me out because I had a car on campus, but I'm super grateful because she's a great friend. Kristin, Amiris and I were a trifecta of weird dance moves whenever One Direction came on.
Bridesmaid
Kaylynn and I have known each other since first grade. She has been a third wheel as well as a voice of reason since the beginning of Chad and I's relationship. She was one the first people we told about our engagement. (See crying photo above)
