We met at Eastern Oklahoma State College. Caleb played baseball and I was on the cheerleading team. It took a year and a half for him to finally get me to go to a public event with him. However, we hung out several times after games, mainly to go to Taco Bell drive-thru and other times with friends. Our first date was to Bedlam in Norman, OK and after this, the rest was history! It was a cold rainy day, right before kickoff, Caleb leans over & asks if I would like to be his girlfriend. The Pokes took an L on that game, but we went home as winners.
Caleb had the proposal planned since August of 2019. He got both sets of our parents and siblings together to go to dinner and afterwards to "The Festival Of Lights" in Chickasha, OK for Christmas lights. He knows Christmas time and Christmas lights are my absolute favorite thing. Meanwhile, while we are walking and enjoying the lights, we stop for family pictures by the pond that has the perfect view of the lights surrounding it, and when I turned around my dream guy was down on one knee asking me to spend forever with him. I literally did not expect to be going home that night with a gorgeous diamond ring on my finger and a fiancé! It was a truly perfect evening and I am happy that he made it where our families could be apart of it. God has truly blessed us beyond measure. August can't come soon enough! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
