Ali is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside and is so supportive and loving - she also serves well as Emily's personal makeup artist and fashion advisor.

Jade and Emily became besties at Toot Hill College & have been a duo ever since. Em and Jade have survived countless nights out, girls holidays and have supported each other through multiple eras of life. They even shared a flat together after Emily finished University just before she moved to York. Jade is both beautiful and the most thoughtful friend to Em -but definitely has a wild side, securing her the nickname of 'Sloshpot' by Byron.

Char and Emily met over their love for dancing at Shan Jones Dance School where they spent every Tuesday evening, Thursday evening and Saturday together for the entirety of secondary school. If they hadn't already spent enough time together they'd then hop in Char's mini and drive pointlessly around just to chat to each other longer before heading home! Their friendship felt more like a sisterhood and despite going to separate schools, Char soon became besties with the Toot Hill girls and was guaranteed to be there at house parties, girls holidays & nights out.. always with a prosecco in hand.

Emily met Emma through Byron and his best man, Sam. Their first introduction was at a pub meal where Byron was trying to wangle Emily an invite to Sam and Emma's wedding in Cyprus that Summer. A few bottles of wine later & Emily's plane ticket was practically booked! Emily and Emma have been best friends ever since, sharing holidays, weekend trips away and the delight of bringing up their gorgeous children together. Thanks to Emma, Emily has cut her makeup routine down to 10 minutes and upped her walking pace by 20 steps per minute.

Emily met Beth at Raleigh Park when she first moved into University Halls. Emily & Beth went onto live with each other for 3 years and share countless hilarious memories. Em and Beth are as cute and soppy as each other and love nothing more than a cuddle and an arm tickle on the sofa - a tradition that will never die. Beth should be referred to as a modern day cupid - if it wasn't for Beth inviting her Brother and his friends to their Christmas house party then Emily & Byron would have never met.

Emily also met Lucy at Raleigh Park and spent 3 of the best years living together. Lucy was by Ems side for many drunken nights out and sicky princess moments, cuddles on the house 333 purple sofa and was Em's own Harvard Reference guide for every assignment ever written. Luce will cheer anyone up with her infectious laugh and gives the best advise in whatever situation. Em, Luce and Beth share a sisterly bond and have supported each other through thick and thin for years!

Nath is Byron’s oldest friend, having met in primary school when Byron moved into the village aged 7. A friendship built on long weekends at the park playing football, late nights playing tennis at the village hall and sleepovers playing Spyro and LMA Manager. Byron and Nath have been through it all over the last 27 years, so you can imagine it would be a very special and emotional moment when Byron asked Nath to be his best man. Well it was exactly that. It was beautiful. Nath cried. They hugged. They both said some soppy emotional words. It was everything you could wish for. Until Byron found out that Nath couldn’t remember it happening as he was too drunk. Attempt 2 when Nath finally gets down on one knee I guess.
Sam Craven

Although Byron knew of Sam throughout school, their friendship didn’t blossom until they passed the legal gambling age of 18. This is when their shared love for horse racing brought them together and any hopes of being financially stable went out the window. They even loved spending so much time together, Sam got Byron a job where he works. Over the course of this 6 year period, Byron has gone from being an assistant to Sam’s boss. Cheers Sam! Work isn’t the only similarity. Byron and Sam both have a little boy and girl and enjoy going on family holidays together.

Since the beginning, Jonny has been a friend that no matter how hard you tried, you couldn’t get rid of him. And thank god for it! Jonny, although hard to admit, has been the linchpin of the lad group and is always one sentence away from creating absolute hysteria. Byron and Jonny have enjoyed playing football together since the age of 13 - although Jonny has slightly less individual trophies than Byron. You can always guarantee that no matter what social event was on the calendar growing up, both Byron and Jonny were in attendance and at the centre of all the drama.
Tom Bendell

Byron rekindled his friendship with Tom after spotting him on the golf course, one sunny evening. Tom was as you could imagine, playing alone and doing his best not to talk to anyone. Following this reunion, Tom went with Byron & Jonny to meet Nath for a night out in Manchester. Tom performed highly this evening and essentially peaked early. Byron has spent countless times with Tom after this event, but Tom has never lived up to the hype again. Tom has been influencing Byron ever since, so much so, that now Byron shares Tom’s anti social views and behaviour.
Olly Cree

Alice's Boyfriend and Emily & Byron's Brother in Law to be!! Byron and Olly first spent one on one time together on a plane to Croatia back in 2018 where they stumbled ridiculously drunk into arrivals to meet Emily and Ali for the second week of a family holiday, having royally pissed off James and Kyle (the air stewards) ordering back to back tonic waters to accompany their duty free gin. Byron & Olly have the same enthusiasm for fun - never knowing when to draw the party to a close.

Liam is Byron's older brother. He is renowned for his intelligence and theres not a topic of conversation he won't have some knowledge on. Byron and Liam, both as stubborn as each other, can debate any subject back and forth until blue in the face. Liam, living only a few doors down from Byron and Emily, is someone they see regularly and are both really close with.
Alex Tyler

Alex is Byron's younger brother, although now officially a 'Tyler' after getting married to Haris in 2024! Alex is very similar to Byron in many ways; work ethic, friendly personality & not forgetting the gene of sarcasm. However, Alex definitely owns more clothes and shoes than Byron has in his entire life. Alex's husband Haris is also an important part of Byron and Em's life and definitely brings the party side out of Alex.
