Our story began at Ethos Church in Nashville, Tennessee. Brody was interning for the Children's ministry while Emily was teaching the 2 and 3-year-old class. One Sunday, while all the classes gathered for a time of worship, Emily was noticeably struggling to console an upset 2-year-old girl. Brody then came to the rescue with the mother's contact information in order to save Emily from the crying baby, but maybe his real intention was to get the girl. Following that service, Brody asked Emily to get coffee at a local coffee shop, where they instantly hit it off, and the rest is history!
