We ask you to kindly turn off your phone during the wedding ceremony and refrain from taking photos until the reception. We have a professional photographer on hand to capture all the special moments and are excited to share those photos with you in the future.
Your presence is our present! In lieu of gifts, we are suggesting contributions to our favorite organizations or to a charity of your choice. Please visit the “Registry” page of this website.
Yes, please visit the “Accommodations” page of this website for phone numbers and websites to area hotels. As many of our guests are local or within a reasonable driving distance, we have not reserved a block of rooms. If you have questions regarding Decatur/Huntsville accommodations, please feel free to contact Emily or Brian.
There is ample parking around the church. The reception will be in the Parish Hall of St. John’s.
If the invitation you received included “& family” on the envelope, your child/children are invited as well. Please be aware that the wedding will include Communion and is a traditional Episcopal service, similar in length to a Sunday morning service. The reception is in the Parish Hall and adult beverages will be on hand. For the safety and comfort of all guests, please keep young children under close supervision.
