What is a cocktail style reception?

Answer

Instead of a traditional sit-down dinner, our reception will be cocktail-style. That means more standing and mingling, with high-top tables and some seating throughout the space. Food will be served in the form of hearty hors d’oeuvres and stations (so no one goes hungry!). We’ll also have a coat rack available, so you can keep your hands free for a drink, a plate, or the dance floor.

Is there transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

We’re providing bus transportation to and from the venue so you can relax and enjoy the day! Pickup Times (to the venue) Bus 1: • 3:20 PM – First pick up at Hilton Mystic • 3:35 PM – Second pick up at The Whaler’s Inn • 3:45 PM – Depart for Kingdom of the Hawk Vineyard Bus 2: • 3:30 PM – Pick up at The Whaler’s Inn • 3:45 PM – Depart for Kingdom of the Hawk Vineyard Return Trips (back to Mystic) 9:00 PM – Early return bus for anyone who wants to head back to the hotels 10:10–10:15 PM – Final buses depart once everyone is on board • Bus 1: Drops off at Hilton Mystic, then The Whaler’s Inn, and finally Engine Room (after-party) • Bus 2: Drops off at The Whaler’s Inn and then Engine Room (after-party)

Is there a dress code?

Cocktail attire! Wear something you feel great in — and since there will be more standing and dancing than a sit-down dinner, we recommend a more comfortable shoe choice.
