Come celebrate forever with us!

Many little decisions led us to each other on August 11th, 2021. It was the day we arrived on our college campus, Clemson University. We both, individually, decided it would be fun to go on a little walk around our new town with friends. This is where it all began. Brandon was sitting in front of Tillman Hall with friends, and Em was walking downtown to meet some people. Although not the most outgoing, Em was determined to meet people and be social after transitioning to college. She and her friends approached Brandon's group, and they all began talking. However, Em and Brandon never spoke to each other that day except to exchange Snapchats. Brandon thought that Em was a goth girl based on her all-black clothing and black hair, and Em thought Brandon was shy and was scared to start a conversation with him. Despite all of this, a couple of days later, Brandon reached out to Em and her roommate to hang out. While hanging out, Brandon showed his interest in Em with subtle gestures. This is where things began to pick up between the two as they grew a bond that would eventually last forever. Less than a month later, Em went to a frat party with her friends, and Brandon asked if he could join. Later that night, at the frat party, Brandon was denied entry, and instead of choosing to enter the party, Em decided to walk back with Brandon and spend the night hanging out with him. This selfless act of putting him before herself led Brandon to ask her out the following day. Brandon knew the next relationship he entered would be with the intention of marriage. This selfless act made him realize that Em could be his wife one day. Looking back, we now know that God was the one who brought us together that night because he knew that we needed each other. After many laughs, memories, inside jokes, date nights, long distance, and expanding our little family by adopting our cat Binx, we finally promised to spend forever with each other on October 16th, 2023. It is a day that we will never forget. Since then, we have been by each other's side through momentous life events such as moving to Greenville, graduating college, getting our first "grown-up" jobs, and adopting two more animals - Charlie and Jackson. We cannot wait to finally say our vows and celebrate our love and future with you all on August 8th, 2025, almost exactly four years since the beginning of this crazy ride.
