Brady and I had met after his Senior Homecoming dance in October 2015. I am originally from Fort Worth, TX and had just moved to Louisiana to attend University. I had met one of Brady's friends at an LSU Game before agreeing to hangout with them further at what would be Brady's House. When we had arrived to the house, Brady and I had a quick introduction, before watching the UFC Fight going on (Cormier vs Gustafson). Over the course of the year, Brady and I would become friends, hanging out in group settings. After the summer, when I had officially moved into my first apartment in Baton Rouge, We had begun to hangout a little more frequently. It wasn't until November of 2016 that we began to date. From that time, we both agreed to a desire to finish our educations (Nicholls State University Classes of 2020 and 2021). After graduation, while searching for jobs, we had an opportunity to buy our home as well. We did, renovating it as we went and two years after we decided to head over to Fairbanks, AK. After nine years together, Brady surprised me during that trip to Fairbanks, Alaska; in the middle of a once‑in‑a‑lifetime winter (‑45°F), he asked me to marry him in front of the Museum of the North at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. I said yes, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you on January 23, 2027.
