Travel
We recommend flying into Chicago O’Hare International Airport or Midway International Airport. From there, you’ll have plenty of options to get downtown! Car rentals are easy to arrange, and Lyft or Uber are reliable and affordable. Feeling a little adventurous? Hop on the “L”—Chicago’s train system—for a quick and budget-friendly ride straight into the city.
If you’re driving, be sure to confirm parking with your hotel or VRBO. Street parking can be tricky, and some spots require permits—trust us, a Chicago parking ticket isn’t the kind of souvenir you’ll want to take home.
For those driving to Walden, secure parking is available, but we highly recommend taking an Uber for a smooth and stress-free arrival and a fun filled evening.
Please keep in mind that the Taste of Chicago and Windy City Smokeout are taking place the weekend of our wedding. Please allow extra time for traveling to Walden. We would hate for you to miss out on any of the celebrations!
