Our Story
We met at White Oak Pastures in February of 2021, when Emily arrived after graduating from the University of Kentucky and met Benjamin, who was working as a cattleman. Our first year of getting to know each other was spent fixing fencing, wrestling calves, chasing piglets, and getting vehicles stuck in the Georgia mud.
After a year's worth of Thursday nights spent at Bluffton's general store, we took a trip to Elijay, GA together, and this adventure really began. Time in Lake Tahoe and Atlanta that spring convinced us it was time for new scenery. We set our sights west, eventually landing in Boulder, CO.
The next three years of cross-town moves, ski lift lines, flat tires, and outdoor adventures brought us closer together. In February 2025, Benjamin proposed while snowmobiling in Winter Park.
Our wedding will be held at Sunshine Ranch, a piece of paradise we get to steward every day. We are so excited to share our greatest adventure with you!
