It's about damn time....... We are getting married!

The first day we meet was on June 27th, 2018. hmmm this date sounds familiar doesn't it! Ben was working at AMR station 103, my rig was called to cover the station. My partner rushed in, waking Ben up. I sat at the table trying to study. Ben says he saw a "gorgeous girl" sitting at the table and started to ask me questions about what I was reading. As I was trying to study, I did not really give him the time of day. That was until Ben took out his own book to read and then of course that perked my interest. Since that day we worked a couple shifts together, singing to musicals and talking about life. On Nov, 12th Ben and I went out for our "non official, official date", it was drinks at BJs Brewhouse and a horror action movie. This is where my parents aren't going to like this story, but I decided I was going to have my first official one-night stand. So, since my parents were gone visiting my Grandma in Iowa, I asked Ben to come over in hopes for a one-night stand. We did not have a one-night stand, we got emotional watching Les Miserable instead and talked about life. He came over for a few more nights but never really left. He is my one-night stand that came for a night and has luckily stayed forever. Our first actual date was Nov 20th seeing Bohemian Rhapsody. Rather quickly into knowing Ben, I knew he came with a little tagalong and about three weeks later, I got to met the amazing Scarlett (one of my favorite people). He officially asked me to be his girlfriend on December 23rd, 2018. And the rest is history! Since our first date, we have bought our first house, lost two dogs, gained four dogs, have owned way too many birds and fish, have had the twins. We have changed jobs multiple times and have grown with each other. We created our own family and life together. Now we have finally decided to make it official and get married. Ben proposed on July 4th, 2023. We obviously like doing things backwards.
