FAQs

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift of all, but if you'd like to contribute to our next chapter, we're saving up for some home improvements to help turn our house into a home. A small gift toward that would mean the world to us! The fund is under the "Registry" header of the website.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know whether or not you can come by August 27th.

Question

When is the ceremony?

Answer

Ben and Emily will actually be tying the knot on Tuesday, September 23rd in a private ceremony (fun fact, Emily is very bad at remembering dates so they decided to get married exactly 7 years after they started dating!) This reception will take place September 27th from 4pm-8pm so please drop in, eat, and celebrate with us!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Nope! We plan to be primarily outdoors so dress comfortably and for whatever the Minnesota weather decides to be that day.

Question

I have a food allergy and/or dietary restrictions. Can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. Just let us know in advance via the RSVP, or contact Terry Bosacker (952-239-4645) so we can ask the catering crew to prepare another option for you. At least half of the appetizers will be vegetarian.

Question

Is there parking for the celebration?

Answer

There is parking on both sides of the street. Few neighbors park on the street, and there is plenty of parking space available, but you may end up walking the equivalent of a block or two. Near the corner of Park Ridge Dr and Engler Blvd there is a community center and several schools. You could meet at one of the parking lots and carpool the final 1/2 mile the house

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Of course! All invited guests are welcome throughout our celebration. There will be a coloring activity for Ben & Emily to keep, and if you give us some ideas we can provide other activities for your kiddos to enjoy. Be assured, our bartender will not serve anyone under 21, so if you are young in face as well as at heart, you might want to bring your ID!

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes. We will have wine & beer available during the event. A licensed bartender will serve the alcohol so be sure to bring your ID. There will also be ice water, minted ice tea, sparkling lemonade with ginger and a hibiscus NA cocktail. If none of these drinks suits you you are free to bring any non alcohol drink you would like, but please do not bring alcohol unless you give it to the bartender to serve. Thanks!
