Is the wedding inside or outside?
Answer
Both! The ceremony will be held outside on the grass. The cocktail hour will be held on the outdoor, covered patio & the reception will be held inside the barn.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Weather in Vermont can be very unpredictable. Typically, August temps are in the 70s-80s. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held inside the barn.

Our wedding will be an adults only event. Thank you for understanding!

What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code will be Summer Formal attire. Think long, colorful dresses & any color suit! Ties optional. Bridesmaids will be in shades of light green. The ceremony will be on grass, please keep that in mind when deciding on shoes!

Do I get a plus-one?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

When do I need to RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP and choose your dinner option (including dietary restrictions) prior to June 30th.

Can I park at the venue?
Answer
Yes, there is plenty of parking. You can also leave your car overnight if you decide to take the shuttle home.

Are all wedding day events at the same place?
Answer
Yes, all wedding day events are held at The Barn at Smuggler's Notch located at 55 Stebbins Rd, Jeffersonville Vermont.

Will transportation be provided?
Answer
Yes - see Transportation tab for information on wedding day shuttles. There will not be shuttles provided on August 8th for our welcome event.
