Emily and Baelin’s story began in the summer of 2018 at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, where a casual beach day with friends turned into something much more. It all started with a spirited game of keep‑away in the ocean, during which Baelin witnessed Emily’s impressive athleticism and coordination, and he knew she was the one for him. Baelin heading off to college slowed things down just a bit, but the distance didn’t last long. On September 1, 2018, they became official. Fate clearly had a plan, because both Emily and Baelin ended up at Florida Atlantic University. There, they tackled the highs and lows of college life side by side, everything from discovering rats in Emily’s college house, to Baelin battling black mold in his apartment, to countless late nights in the “frat lab” (also known as the library), plus more Greek life events than anyone could possibly count. Through it all, they laughed, supported each other, and made memories they’ll never forget. In November 2025, Baelin pulled off the most beautiful surprise proposal, giving them a day they’ll cherish forever, made even sweeter by celebrating that evening with their families. Shortly after, Baelin graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in December 2025 and began his career in Jacksonville, while Emily continued growing her career at the company she’s been with since graduating college. After nearly eight wonderful years together, Emily and Baelin are beyond excited to step into this next chapter of life, and even more excited to celebrate their love with all of you.
