FAQs

The Wedding Website of Emily Swanson and Arthur Bryson
Question

What are the sleeping accommodations like?

Answer

We are so excited to be able to offer our guests no-cost on-site lodging at our venue. As we are getting married at a functional girl scout camp, the lodging reflects that. Throughout the property, there are several cabins. All of the cabins have twin bunk beds (the amount varies by cabin), electricity, heat, a kitchenette with running water and appliances, and at least one toilet and shower. There is a bathhouse nearby to the cabins with additional bathrooms and showers. All cabins have their own firepit (wood included). Guests can find their cabin assignments upon arrival to camp. We will do our best to lodge people who know each other together (i.e. by family/friend group).

Question

I'm staying overnight...what should I pack?

Answer

Those staying overnight should be sure to pack the following things for a successful cabin stay (we will have a limited number of extras in case someone forgets): -Sleeping bag and/or twin-sized bedding -Pillow -Pajamas -Toiletries -Shower Shoes -Towel -Party Clothes for the wedding! -Warm clothes for nighttime -Comfortable clothes/shoes for exploring camp -Drinks for you/your group (plenty of drinks will be provided on Saturday night; otherwise, BYOB)! -Food for you/your group for lunch and breakfast on Saturday (see below) Feel free to bring bicycles, outdoor (or indoor!) games, or anything else to enjoy on the 400+ acre campus throughout the weekend! We will provide Friday and Saturday dinner, as well as Sunday breakfast for our overnight guests. Please pack some food for yourself and your party for Saturday breakfast and lunch during your stay. All cabins are equipped with a kitchenette (fridge, stove/oven, microwave, sink).

On Friday night, we'll be having a chili potluck at 6:30 and an outdoor movie later in the evening (see "schedule" page of our website for more information). Feel free to join or do your own thing!
