15 years of friendship, followed by two years of dating, and now looking forward to the rest of our lives together! Anthony and I met our freshman year of High School. A very tight-knit friend group was formed, and still holds true today! After about 15 years of friendship, we both started to wonder if this could be something more! We decided to go on a walk around the sculpture garden, at the Nelson Art Museum. The shocker is, after that first October walk, we decided we would stay friends. Over the next several months, we spent more and more time together. Even in group settings, it always seemed that we would spend most of the evening enjoying each other's company. Until, one February evening, my twin (Tommy) gave me a literal push, and said "I see it. You're friends see it. Someone who walks in the room for two minutes sees it. Just date Anthony." Two years after that brotherly shove, Anthony took me back to the Nelson sculpture garden for another walk. As we walked, we talked about how phenomenal the last two years has been, and how we couldn't imagine a life not spent beside each other. Anthony said he had been wanting to re-do our first Nelson walk, and have it become a new part of our story. Kneeling, and proposing, we now get to start that next chapter of our lives together!
