She asked, “Are you still with your ex-girlfriend?” Then she added, “Emily wants to know.” Naturally, I had to turn around and see who this Emily was—and there she was. I wrapped up my conversation with Lea quick and walked straight over to talk to the beautiful girl who was asking about me. We hit it off and ended up talking the rest of the night. About a week later, we went on our first date at Southern Tier. After a few more dates, we found ourselves in a Domino’s, where I asked Emily to be my girlfriend. The rest is history.
