Things To Do in DC

The Wedding Website of Emily Sobel and Andrew Seter
There is no shortage of things to do in DC. The Smithsonian museums, monuments, and National Mall are all classics. The list below is some of the local spots that Emily and Andrew particularly enjoyed during their time in DC.

Solly's

1942 11th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20001
, (202) 232-6590

Andrew and Emily met at a bar called Dodge City that has unfortunately since closed. But Solly's was the second place they went! Fair warning- it's a dive bar, but a fun place to grab a beer!

National Portrait Gallery

Washington, DC 20001
, (202) 633-8300

This is one of Andrew and Emily's favorite museums in DC.

Union Market

1309 5th Street Northeast, Washington, DC 20002
, (301) 347-3998

When Andrew lived in DC this was one of his favorite spots near his old apartment. It has lots of different food options and shops.

Bluejacket

300 Tingey Street Southeast, Washington, DC 20003
, (202) 524-4862

A fun brewery with lots of other great bars and restaurants around it.

United States National Arboretum

3501 New York Avenue Northeast, Washington, DC 20002
, (202) 245-2726

If you want to get outside, the National Mall gets all the attention, but the Arboretum is a beautiful option too!

Eastern Market

225 7th Street Southeast, Washington, DC 20003
, (202) 698-5253

Check out all the vendors and take a walk through Capitol Hill.

Georgetown

Washington, DC 20007

Definitely check out Georgetown for shopping and waterfront views!

For all the days along the way
