Balboa Park is a historic urban cultural park in San Diego. In addition to open space areas, natural vegetation zones, green belts, gardens, and walking paths, it contains museums, several theaters, and the San Diego Zoo. Fun fact, we had our second date here!
This is our local beach that we love to frequent in the summer! Street parking is tricky, but they do have a north and south paid parking lot that we think is always worth it.
A popular tourist destination! You can hang out at the beach or visit one of the many shops, bars, and restaurants. There is also a small amusement park, Belmont Park, with a wooden roller coaster and a few other rides.
Authentic Mexican Food awaits! We recommend Old Town Cafe.
There are tons of wineries in Escondido and Rancho Bernardo area. Orfila, Cordiano, Rancho Bernardo Winery just to name a few!
Coronado is a little island off the coast of Downtown San Diego. It has one of the most beautiful beaches in San Diego one side and a great view of San Diego's skyline on the other. You have to walk through the Hotel Del and grab a drink! You can also rent bikes and follow the path that takes you almost the entire way around. You can drive over the bridge to get there or take a ferry.
