Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Check out our travel tab for hotels in which we have special rates at. Skaneateles will be pricier than Auburn (Auburn is a neighboring, charming small town!), but if you plan on attending the after party, keep in mind this will be hosted in Auburn.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

In addition to the rehearsal dinner with our bridal party and close family, we will be hosting a welcome party on the Friday night before the wedding, 7/21, at The Sherwood Inn in Skaneateles. Our rehearsal dinner will also be at this location, so come on over following dinner for a drink and hang out! The party starts at 7:30 PM and goes until 10 PM.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, we will have a valet service provided on site.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will provide shuttles from select hotels in Skaneateles & Auburn which hold our room blocks to and from Hobbit Hollow for those who do not wish to drive. More information to come closer to!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is summer Formal. Think suit & tie for the guys, full length or midi dresses for the ladies. Strongly encourage block heels as we'll be on the grass! Garden party or floral attire recommended, not required :)

Has your menu been flagged with any allergies?

Answer

We've flagged our caterer to leave out any tree nuts or peanuts. We've also decided to go with the buffet route to allow guests to choose exactly what they'd like from a wide array of delicious farm to table options! If you have another allergy you'd like to flag, please let us know on your RSVP card.

Answer

Yes! We are registered at Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Anthropologie and Zola. You can find these on our registry tab.
