Portland International Rose Test Garden
We've visited many times and it never gets old! If you're feeling energetic, you can double up this visit with the Portland Japanese Garden directly across the street. We recommend taking Uber or public transportation as parking can be very tricky.
Wachlella Falls Hike & Swim
This has to be one of our all-time favorite hikes. It's a two mile out-and-back trail that leads hikers to a beautiful waterfall with pools that are open to swimmers.
Visit a Coffee House
Portland is famed for its coffee - and for good reason! We have an absolute ton of amazing options to choose from. Here are a few of our favorites: - Never - Behind the Museum Cafe (pair it with a trip to the art museum!) - Proud Mary - Crema - Woodlawn Coffee - Puff (try the mushroom coffee!)
Get a bite at a cart pod
Portland is also famous for its cart pod food scene. They're a great & affordable option for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some of our favorites include: - The Chill And Fill (try the Picone's breakfast sando!) - St. John's Beer Porch - Hawthorne Asylum - Pioneer Square (try the Fried Egg I'm In Love breakfast sando!)
