Wasana has been Emily's best friend since high school. She is known for her love of art, anime, her cat Watson and her husband Corbin (in no particular order). Fun fact, Emily officiated Wasana and Corbin's wedding!
Alex Frick
Maid of Honor
Alex Frick, aka Frick, Fricky, Frickinator, has been Emily's best friend since her UB days. Alex is fun, funny, and an all around wonderful person to be around. While Alex and Emily went to high school together, Emily used to annoy Alex by talking constantly and disrupting AP bio. Fun fact, Alex and Emily walked into Senior Prom unknowingly wearing the same dress.
Rachael Wojcik
Bridesmaid
Rachael is Emily's best-friend, former roommate, co-cat lover, and an all-around wonderful person. Rachael's super power is making Emily feel loved no matter the distance, and consistently asking her to move back to Buffalo. Fun fact: Emily and Rachael (are predicted to) have a Snapchat streak of >1000 days at the time of the wedding!
Alexandra Gulino
Bridesmaid
Alexandra i.e. Big Al, is Emily's sister in-law, who really doesn't need the "in-law" part. Emily looks up to Alex like a true sister as Alex brings warmth, love, and fun to every room she enters. She is expected to lead dance floor efforts once Usher is played through the speakers.
Olivia Mann
Bridesmaid
Olivia was Emily's library partner consistently throughout their long days at the University at Buffalo, often competing to see who could take more credit hours per semester or who could drink the most caffeine in a single day. (Spoiler alert: they both lost and are now addicted to coffee). Olivia completed medical school and is now an ER Resident in Philadelphia, and she inspires Emily with every conversation with her strength and resilience. Fun Fact - Olivia and Emily share a fondness for naming their adopted stray cats silly things.
Arnav Chaudhari
Best Man
Arnav is Ameya's little brother and the best man! In all Chaudhari family photos, Arnav and Ameya are inseparable, with Arnav usually being victim to some type of prank or scheme from Ameya. When Ameya and Arnav are together, they don't go more than 5 minutes without laughing or joking around. Ameya and Emily consider themselves so lucky to have Arnav (relatively) nearby, as every time they all get together its guaranteed to be a great time. Fun fact: we're pretty sure Arnav loves Emily and Ameya's dog Pumba more than most people.
Kartik Gandhi
Best Man
Kartik is one of Ameya's closest friends from his days at Duke. He loves adventuring, hiking, and was always a go-to hangout for Ameya and Emily when he lived in NC. Ameya loves to make fun of Kartik for being Gujarati. Fun fact: Kartik was initially scared of Ameya and Emily's dog Pumba, but after realizing that Pumba is a lovable potato, he got over it quickly.
Talha Kapadia
Groomsman
Talha is Ameya's friend from his undergraduate days at ICT, and they have remained close even after coming to the US and living on opposite coastlines. Talha is responsible for Ameya's love of tennis, having taught Ameya everything he knows. Fun fact: Ameya introduced Emily to Talha before getting high tea at the Taj in South Bombay.
Tim Little
Groomsman
Tim has known Emily and Ameya through all the trials and tribulations of completing a PhD. He is best known for being (weirdly) good at ping pong and very confident in his stock trading even when they don't do so well. Tim and his wife Kayla have been wonderful friends to Ameya and Emily during their time in NC. Their fun fact is they have 3 bengal cats, but Tim will try to get you to adopt the black one for some reason. Feel free to ask Kayla about her Axolotls as well.
Nicholas Bonacquisti
Groomsman
Nick is Emily's big brother, and while he won't be able to attend the wedding due to military service, we are honoring him by keeping our 5th groomsmen spot reserved for him. Nick is a wonderful father to Sofia and Luca and a loving husband to Alex, but before that he was/is an awesome big brother to Emily. Emily and Nick share a love of memes, laughing at fart noises, and eating all the chocolate chips out of the baking cabinet before anyone bakes anything. We will miss you greatly at the wedding Nick, but we love you dearly and pray you will return home safe and sound ❤️.
