Rock Park
Hike the Castle Rock! A moderate 1.4 mile hike that takes about 45 minutes. Great views of the town and Pikes Peak.
Roxborough State Park
One of our favorite places to hike near Castle Rock. Similar rock formations to Garden of the Gods, but much less crowded!
Garden of the Gods
A must see! About 45 minutes to an hour south of Castle Rock. Paved trails in the main garden and many fun hikes around other rock formations.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
Feed the giraffes and the elephants! A great zoo in Colorado Springs (and close to Garden of the Gods!) Reservations required.
Cog Railway
Take the Cog Railway up to the top of Pikes Peak. A beautiful train ride up the mountain.
Meow Wolf Denver's Convergence Station
A crazy, immersive installation to explore in Downtown Denver. Tickets required.
Fiske Planetarium
If you want to trek up to Boulder, catch a show at the planetarium! They offer educational programs, as well as music and laser shows.
Ecclesia
An old church converted into a food hall, bar, bookstore, and more! One of our favorite spots in town.
Great Divide Brewery & Roadhouse
A great spot for a local beer and good food.

B & B Cafe
A Castle Rock brunch staple. Look for the bullet hole in the tin ceiling from the shooting of the town marshal in 1946.
