We made the difficult decision back in March to postpone our wedding date to protect our family and friends during the pandemic. Never imagining that when we set our new date for September we'd still be in such an unstable place. As of today we're seven weeks out and we plan to continue with our plans. We understand that times are uncertain, and we want each of our guests to make the decision that's best for them. Our ceremony is planned to be out doors (weather permitting of course). We plan to arrange seating in short rows - one family per row - and distance each row. It will be open seating, there will be no usher traditionally seating our guests. The reception hall will be below half of its full capacity (and likely lower) allowing our guests plenty of room to stay distant from one another. There is also patio seating available and our DJ will be placing speakers outdoor so that guests outside can still feel included. Our meal will be a served buffet. Only the caterers will touch the serving utensils. We plan to have a wealth of hand sanitizer available as well as indicator bracelets to easily indicate your comfort level with social engagement, and while at a private event masks are not required by the county, we strongly support mask wearing! Since our wedding is on a Sunday, we've moved our ceremony time up to 4pm! We understand that many of you will have to hit the road early to get back for work or school the next day, and we completely understand! We appreciate just having you present! We want to make our guests as comfortable and safe as possible, and we are SO excited to start our married life together, and we are deeply appreciative of all your love and support at this time!
