You got married already? Well what will we even be doing at the event?

Celebrating with us! We invited you because you hold a special place in our hearts, and we couldn’t imagine this new chapter without you. We had a small, private ceremony in June—just the two of us and a few family members—because we’re both a little shy and couldn’t picture saying our vows in front of a big crowd. Now we’re so excited to celebrate this moment with all of you, and we will have our vows recorded for you to have a listen!

Okay. That explains part of it. So what will we actually be doing for 4 hours?

Ah! Got it! Well, here is the planned schedule: 4pm - guests start arriving; themed non-alcoholic drinks are available for guests(a bit like a cocktail hour) and appetizers 5:00pm - Guests are asked to be seated for grand entrance and dinner 5:10pm - Emily & Alec make their grand appearance down the staircase 5:15pm - Guests start getting dinner from buffet tables 5:20pm - 6pm - Dinner is eaten and murder mystery actors start integrating with guests 5:45pm - Night at the masquerade murder mystery officially starts 7:45pm - Finish murder mystery 7:45pm - 8:10pm - Speeches are given and evening ends

We are bringing kids. What should they do after dinner?

Answer

Kids are more than welcome to join in if they’re interested! If caregivers feel the murder mystery isn’t the right fit, there are cozy areas downstairs where kids and caretakers can hang out during the activity. We recommend bringing a few things to help keep little ones entertained after dinner, as we won’t have organized activities planned for them.
