Platja d'Aro
Platja d'Aro is one of Costa Brava's larger towns and is home to a large beach, many restaurants and bars and a main street lined with shops. To the north of the beach, you can access a number of lovely beaches by foot as you walk along the coastal path. These include Cala Rovira, Sa Cova and Cala del Pi.
Towns
There are so many beautiful, picturesque towns along the Costa Brava which are definitely worth a visit if you have time and a car. Here are 3 we would recommend: - Cadaqués - Calella de Parafrugell - Tossa de Mar
Beaches & Coves
If you did want to travel, here are some of our favourite beaches & coves along the coast line: - Aigua Blava & Sa Tuna (Begur) - Platja de l'Illa Roja (Begur) - Platja de Canyelles Petites (Roses) - Platja del Port Pelegrí (Palafrugell)

Sant Joan
Sant Joan is a festival in Catalunya that celebrates the start of Summer and is on 24th June, around the time of the Summer Solstice. It is also known as the 'Night of fire' with the main celebration being the night before, 23rd June, with fireworks and fire dances happening all night.
