We met as volunteers at Camp Wapiyapi, a summer camp for kids affected by cancer. While I was a bit timid and nervous, he was certainly in his element. Over the course of the week, however, his enthusiasm washed away my reservations. We danced together, laughed together, and even sang Broadway tunes at the top of our lungs together (much to my camper's embarrassment). I'm not sure if it was the kindness that radiated from every interaction he had with kids and counselors alike or his goofy and bubbly personality, but by the end of the week I knew this was the man I wanted to marry.
