What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The wedding dress code is formal. Guests are welcome to wear suits, long dresses, or jumpsuits. It will be cold upstate, but all wedding activities will be indoors!

IS THERE A SHUTTLE SERVICE TO GET TO THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be provided to and from the venue. Pick-up and drop-off will be available from The Golden Arrow (2559 Main St, Lake Placid) and High Peaks Resort (2384 Saranac Ave, Lake Placid). The bus will depart from The Golden Arrow at 2:15 and from the High Peaks Resort at 2:45. A bus will also be available immediately after the reception, again at midnight and last at 1:30 PM for those staying at the after party. Departure stops will be made at The Golden Arrow and High Peaks.

CAN I DRIVE TO THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION?

Answer

There is limited valet parking available at the venue. Please let us know if you plan to drive, and we can coordinate with the Lodge.

Are there Ubers / Lyfts in Lake Placid?

Answer

There are limited Uber and Lyft services in Lake Placid. We'd recommend scheduling ahead or calling the local taxi service for any rides you need scheduled (802-870-0202).

What is there to do in Lake Placid?

Answer

There are so many activities for all ages, from visiting the scene of the "miracle on ice" to hitting some breweries to bobsledding. Check out our "Things to Do" page for more details or reach out to the bride and groom for first-hand suggestions.

Answer

The earlier the better! Formal invitations and RSVPs will be shared in the coming months.
